Welcome to The Society for the Innocents Daily Prayer for Life on SFTI Radio.
In a world that turns away from the most vulnerable, we pause to pray—to be a voice for those who cannot speak.
Heavenly Father,
Today we lift up those entrusted with leadership—our lawmakers, judges, and public servants. You have placed before them decisions that shape the course of our communities and the lives of the most vulnerable. We acknowledge that no government rises or falls apart from Your sovereign hand, and we come before You on behalf of those who carry the weight of authority.
Grant them wisdom, Lord, not the wisdom of the world, but wisdom rooted in truth. When they are pressured by politics, remind them of justice. When they are surrounded by noise, let them hear what is right. When they are tempted toward convenience, lead them instead toward courage. May they govern not for applause, but for the good of those they serve.
Soften hearts that have grown hardened. Open eyes that have been closed to the dignity of every human life. Raise up leaders who will defend those who cannot defend themselves—especially the unborn. Let compassion rise above ambition, and let principle stand firmer than popularity.
Lord, place people in their path who will speak truth with clarity and conviction. Let no law be written that forgets the value of life, and no decision be made without considering those who have no voice. May they remember that they will one day answer to a higher authority than any court or constituency.
Protect those who choose what is right, even when it is difficult. Strengthen them to stand firm when they stand alone. Give them courage when the cost is great, and peace when the path is narrow.
And Lord, where there has been injustice, bring correction. Where there has been confusion, bring clarity. And where there has been silence, raise up voices for life.
We entrust our leaders to You, knowing that true authority comes from You alone.
