Welcome to The Society for the Innocents Daily Prayer for Life on SFTI Radio.
In a world that turns away from the most vulnerable, we pause to pray—to be a voice for those who cannot speak.
Today, we pray for those who carry the weight of a past abortion — that they would encounter the mercy, forgiveness, and healing found in Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father,
you are the God of mercy, the one who sees every heart and knows every hidden sorrow. Nothing is concealed from you, and yet nothing is beyond your grace. You are not a God who stands at a distance from broken hearts. You are the God who draws near to them.
Today, we lift up every man and woman who carries the weight of a past decision. Those who live with regret, grief, or silence that no one else can see. Those who have never spoken of it to another soul. Those who carry it alone in the quiet hours when the world is still and the weight feels heaviest. Lord, draw near to them today. Where there is guilt, speak forgiveness. Where there is shame, speak mercy. Where there is grief, bring comfort. Where there is anger at themselves, at others, at circumstances beyond their control, bring peace that passes understanding.
Remind them that they are not beyond redemption, that your love is greater than any sin and your mercy deeper than any wound. That the cross was sufficient, that Christ paid the full price, and there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Him.
For those who feel alone, send people who will walk with them in truth and compassion, who will neither minimize the pain nor magnify the shame, but who will point them to the only one who can make all things new.
For those who are afraid to speak, give them the courage to step into the light where healing begins. Let the church be a safe place for that first step.
