Welcome to The Society for the Innocents Daily Prayer for Life on SFTI Radio.
In a world that turns away from the most vulnerable, we pause to pray—to be a voice for those who cannot speak.
Today, we pray for Churches everywhere.
Heavenly Father,
You have called Your people to be a light in the darkness — to reflect Your mercy, Your truth, and Your love in a world that is often broken and afraid.
Today we lift up Your Church.
Forgive us, Lord, where we have been silent when we should have spoken — where we have turned away when we should have stepped forward. Where a frightened woman looked toward Your people and found condemnation instead of compassion, silence instead of support, distance instead of presence. Where fear of discomfort has kept us from living out Your calling, have mercy on us.
Raise up in Your Church a renewed courage — not only to speak truth, but to live it. Let us be a people who do more than say that life is sacred — let us be a people who show it.
Where a woman is afraid, let the Church be a place of peace. Where she feels alone, let the Church be present. Where she expects judgment, let her find compassion. Where she sees no path forward, let us walk with her — with open hearts, open hands, and practical, sacrificial love.
And let every act of mercy be in service of something greater. Let the Holy Spirit use the compassion of Your people to draw these women to Christ — for our ultimate purpose is not merely to meet a need, but to point every soul to the One who meets every need. To bring people to Jesus. To His grace, His forgiveness, and His life.
Let Your Church be known not for condemnation, but for mercy. Not for distance, but for presence. Not for words alone, but for sacrifice. And through that witness, draw hearts back to You — that life may be chosen, hope restored, and Your love made visible in every place.
